Billy Kingsley is a former Vanderbilt University, Division of Media Relations photographer where he won several University Photographers Association of America awards, Billy spent the past five years working as a freelance photojournalist before recently accepting a fulltime staff position with the Tennessean.

Raised in Nashville, Billy earned his B.S. in photography from Middle Tennessee State University. In his spare time, Billy enjoys spending time with his 15-year old son, mountain biking, backpacking and teaching karate.
